Case 50 - Human Papilloma Virus-Related Carcinoma with Adenoid Cystic-Like Features

Summary

A 90-year-old man presented with repeated episodes of epistaxis. A bleeding mass was detected in the right nasal fossa upon physical examination. CT scan showed a large lesion involving the right nasal fossa and the maxillary sinus, with erosion of the nasal septum (Figure 1). An incisional biopsy was performed. Due to poor general conditions, the patient was treated only with radiotherapy.
