Summary

A 70-year-old woman presented with a 4-month history of nasal obstruction and epistaxis. She also complained of pain of the right side of the face and decreased visual acuity in the right eye. Her past medical history included treatment for breast carcinoma 14 years before. The MRI documented a large mass that involved the right nasal cavity with extension into the maxillary sinus, the orbit, and posteriorly in the nasopharynx (Figure 1). An incisional biopsy of the nasal component of the lesion was performed through an endoscopic approach.
