We are pleased to announce that the submission deadline for this special issue of the Journal of Plasma Physics has been extended to July 31 2023

Non-neutral plasmas: achievements and perspectives

This Special Issue of JPP aims at conveying recent achievements and progress in the physics of non-neutral plasmas and related phenomena. Regulars papers are welcome on experimental results, theoretical developments and computational methods addressing the wide range of topics investigated in this field.

JPP will publish regular papers based on contributions to the 13th International Workshop on Non-Neutral Plasmas, which took place 19-22 September in Milan, Italy.

This workshop is the last of a series of conferences devoted to the physics of non-neutral plasmas and related phenomena. Topics covered include: non-neutral plasmas, partially neutralized plasmas, charged particle beams, ultracold neutral plasmas, matter-antimatter plasmas, antihydrogen production, exotic and highly charged ions, multi-component ion plasmas.

For more information, visit the conference website (https://sites.google.com/view/nnp2022).

Participants are invited to submit manuscripts, which will be assessed according to the usual quality criteria of the Journal and published in a special issue.

Submission deadline: 30 June 2023
