In this series, JPP will publish pedagogical graduate-level introductions to frontier areas of plasma physics, which may be based on university courses, lectures delivered at workshops and summer schools, or written specially for JPP.
Within this series, we will favour highly individual takes on the subject by leading researchers rather than the traditional literature review format.
If you are interested in publishing in this series, please contact one of the JPP Editors Editors. We will also welcome unsolicited submissions.
The first in the series was J. B. Taylor's "Fundamental concepts in Plasma Confinement", based on lectures delivered at the University of Texas, Austin and never before available in print. We expect this graduate-level introduction to the field, authored by one of the founders of the subject, to be an instant classic.
Indexing and arxiv
All articles published in JPP are included in all major indexes, including ADS, ISI, and Scopus. Furthermore, JPP works with arxiv to ensure that any preprints posted on the arxiv are automatically linked to the final version of record when published in JPP. We encourage all JPP authors to post their preprints on the arxiv.
