Sciant presentes & futuri quod ego Alicia de Harwe filia quondam Simonis de Lychefeld, dedi, concessi & hac presenti carta mea confirmavi Willelmo de Red juniori, civi & pellipario London’, & Agneti uxori sue, & heredibus ac assignatis ejusdem Willelmi, totam terram illam cum domibus superedificatis & pertinenciis suis quam habui in Mukewelstrate in parochia Sancti Olavi London’, inter tenementum canonicorum nove hospitalis versus austrum & tenementum domini Roberti filii Nigelli versus aquilonem et extendit se a vico regio ex parte orientali usque ad murum ville ex parte occidentali, videlicet quicquid ibidem habui vel habere potui seu debui ut in terris, edificiis, lignis, lapidibus, in longitudine, latitudine & rebus cunctis sine aliqua diminucione. Quam quidem terram predictam cum domibus superedificatis & pertinenciis suis ego predicta Alicia habui ex dimissione quondam Johannis perpetui vicarii ecclesie de Hergwes avunculi mei: habend’ & tenend’ totam predictam terram cum domibus superedificatis & pertinenciis suis ut predictum est prefatis Willelmo & Agneti & heredibus & assignatis quibuscumque ejusdem Willelmi de me heredibus & assignatis meis libere, quiete, bene, & in pace, in feodo & hereditate imperpetuum. Reddendo inde annuatim michi, heredibus vel assignatis meis, unum clavum garophili ad Natale domini, & capitalibus dominis feodi illius servicia inde debita & consueta. Et ego Alicia predicta, heredes & assignati mei totam predictam terram cum domibus superedificatis & pertinenciis suis ut predictum est prefatis Willelmo & Agneti & heredibus vel assignatis ejusdem Willelmi contra omnes homines & feminas christianos & judeos warantizabimus, defendemus & acquietabimus per predictum servicium imperpetuum. Pro hac autem donacione, concessione, warantia, defensione, acquietacione & presentis carte mee confirmacione dederunt michi predicti Willelmus & Agnes viginti marcas argenti pre manibus in gersumam. Et ut omnia premissa robur perpetue firmitatis obtineant, presentem cartam sigilli mei impressione roboravi.
