  • (a) iϑā. āat̰. yazamaide. ahurəm. mazdą̇m. yǝ̄. gą̇m.cā. aṣ̌əmcā. dāt̰

  • (b) apascā. dāt̰. uruuarā̊scā. vaŋhīš

  • (c) raocā̊scā. dāt̰. būmīmcā. vīspācā. vōhū

In this way we now worship the Wise Lord,

who has created the cow and truth,

(who) has created the waters and the good plants,

(who) has created light and the earth

and all that is good.

yasn sidīgar hād

  • (a) ēdar ēdōn yazom ohrmazd kē gōspand ud ahlāyīh-iz dād

  • (b) u-š āb-iz dād ud urwar-iz ī weh

  • (c) u-š rōšnīh dād ud būm-iz ud harwisp-iz ābādīh bun ud bar

Third chapter of the Yasna

  • (a) Here, I thus worship Ohrmazd, who created cattle and righteousness too.

  • (b) And he also created water and also the good plant.

  • (c) And he created light and also the earth and all prosperity too, (namely) root and fruit.

PY 37.2

  • (a) ahiiā. xšaϑrācā. mazǝ̄nācā. huuapaŋhāišcā

  • (b) tǝ̄m. at̰. yasnaną̇m. puruuatātā̊. ẏazo

  • (c) yōi. gǝ̄uš. hacā. šiieiṇtī

by his rule, greatness and skills.

We worship him with the most excellent worship (of those)

who are on the side of the cow.

  • (a) ōy kē xwadāyīh ud mehīh padiš u-š hu-pānagīh aziš

  • (b) ān ēdōn az yaštārān ī andar ēn gēhān pad pēš-rawišnīh yazom pad pēšōbāyīh

  • (c) kē pad gōspandōmandīh mānēnd awēšān yaštār

  • (a) He who owns sovereignty and greatness and offers his good-protection.

  • (b) On account of (their) prominence, on account of (their) leadership, I thus worship those among the worshippers of this world,

  • (c) who stand on the side of the cattle, (namely) their worshippers.

PY 37.3

  • (a) tǝ̄m. at̰. āhūriiā. nāmǝ̄nī. mazdāuuarā. spəṇtōtǝ̄mā ẏazo

  • (b) tǝ̄m. ahmākāiš. azdǝ̄bīšcā. uštānāišcā. ẏazo

  • (c) tǝ̄m. aṣ̌āuną̇m. frauuašīš. narą̇mcā. nāiriną̇mcā. yazo

We worship him in the form of his lordly names,

(which are) welcome to the Wise one (and which are) the most bounteous

ones.

We worship him with our limbs and lives.

We worship him in the form of the choices of the truthful ones,

both men and women.
