(b) dadəmahicā. cīšmahicā. ācā. āuuaēδaiiamahī ∴
We offer, assign and dedicate
praises, hymns and prayers
to the Wise Lord
and to the best Truth.
yasn haftom hād
(a) stāyišn ud gīrišn ud niyāyišn ō ohrmazd ud ašwahišt-iz
(b) dahom xwad ud čāšom ō kasān ud ān-iz niwēyom pad gufr
Yasn, the seventh chapter
(a) Praises, acceptance and prayers to Ohrmazd and also Ašwahišt.
(b) I myself offer and teach others and I also announce it by speech.
PY 41.2
(a) vōhū. xšaϑrəm. tōi. mazdā. ahurā. apaēmā. vīspāi. ẏaouuē
(b) huxšaϑra.stū. nǝ̄. nā. vā. nāirī. vā. xšaētā
(c) ubōiiō. aŋhuuō. hātą̇m. hudāstəmā ∴
May we obtain, O Wise one,
your good rule
for all time!
May a good ruler,
a man or a woman,
rule over us
in both existences,
O most beneficent of those who exist!
(a) ān ī weh xwadāyīh tō ohrmazd be ayābēnd hamē tā ō wisp
(b) ān ī ohrmazd tō ō amā kē nar ud nārīg hēm ā-t pādixšāyēnēd
(c) andar har dō axwān hastān hudahāgtom
(a) They will obtain, O Ohrmazd, your good rule, always until for all.
(b) That which belongs to Ohrmazd, will make you rule over us, who are male (beings) and women,
(c) in both existences, O most beneficent of the existing ones.
PY 41.3
(a) humāīm. ϑβā. īžīm. ẏazatəm. asaŋhācim. dadəmaide
(b) aϑā. tū. nǝ̄. gaiiascā. astəṇtā̊scā. x́iiā̊
(c) ubōiiō. aŋhuuō. hātą̇m huδāstəmā
We regard you as the good-powered, invigorating
venerable one, whose companion is Truth.
May you then thus be for us life and corporality
in both existences,
O most beneficent of those who exist!
(a) ka hu-framānīh ī tō kū framān ī tō barānd ud abzōn kū tis ī tō abzāyēnd u-t yazišn az ahlāyīh abāgīh dahānd kū-t az ašwahišt hammis ōh yazānd
