Improving delivery of CT-PTSD: Celebrating the work of Hannah Murray

Cognitive Therapy for PTSD is a NICE-recommended evidence-based treatment for PTSD. The treatment is based on the Ehlers and Clark (2000) cognitive model of PTSD. This collection of papers is dedicated to the memory of Hannah Murray, who sadly passed away after a long illness in 2023. Hannah made significant contributions to the journal through authoring and co-authoring several key clinical guidance papers to help practitioners improve their delivery of CT-PTSD. She worked alongside other specialists in the field at the Oxford Centre of Anxiety Disorders and Trauma and at the Traumatic Stress Services at St Georges in London. Further publications on CT-PTSD alongside free therapist training videos, developed by the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, are available at oxcadatresources.com.

We hope this collection will encourage further submissions to the journal of empirically grounded papers about CT-PTSD, that will be helpful for clinicians who deliver the treatment.
