Submitting your materials

Licence to publish

Before Cambridge can publish your manuscript, we need a signed licence to publish agreement. Under the agreement, certain rights are granted to the journal owner which allow publication of the article. The original ownership of the copyright in the article remains unchanged. For full details see the publishing agreement page.

Submission

All submissions to Applied Psycholinguistics should be made via Manuscript Central at the following address: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/appliedpsych

Submission of an article implies that it has not been published elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to publish material (quotations, illustrations, etc.) for which they do not own the copyright. Contributors of accepted articles will retain copyright and sign a license to publish with Cambridge University Press.

In light of the very high number of submissions we receive, in addition to our commitment to publishing the work of a wide variety of scholars, we ask that an individual author submit a maximum of two manuscripts (as first or subsequent author) per 12-month period. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to this policy, please explain in an email to the editorial office.
