Advertising

This journal accepts advertising in accordance with our advertising policy. This policy states that advertising must:

  • be independent from editorial decisions on what we publish, and
  • be clearly distinct from content.

All advertising requests are subject to approval by the editorial office.

Further information about advertising in Cambridge University Press journals can be found here.

British Catholic History (BCH) (formerly titled Recusant History) is the official publication of the Catholic Record Society. Over more than sixty years the journal has published the work of both established and emerging scholars, engaging with the multi-faceted, national and international dimensions of British Catholic history and its role within the master narratives of history more broadly. It is published in print and online by Cambridge University Press.

The journal is delivered to all members of the Catholic Record Society as well as to a substantial list of international academic institutions and religious communities. It is a critical resource for any individual or organisation interested in the historical study of British Catholicism and its place in the world. It provides an excellent platform for advertising publications and events that relate to this community.

BCH accepts both print and digital advertising in multiple forms, including full and half page advertisements, online banners and loose inserts. Agents and series discounts are available. Please enquire.
