A short checklist to help authors before they submit their article to the Annals of Actuarial Science:
1. Consult the AAS preparing your materials page before you submit. Authors of Actuarial Software should consider the specific instructions pertaining to that stream. Note that all articles need to include a Competing Interest, Funding and Data Availability Statement.
2. Consult the AAS research transparency policy and include a Data Availability Statement with your article. (Note that provision of replication materials is required for actuarial software).
3. AAS uses the Cambridge University Press medium standard template, Authors have the option of using CUP's Overleaf template to help them submit (this is a collaborative authoring tool; read more about Overleaf here). LaTeX template files can be downloaded from Overleaf.
5. Note that Cambridge University Press has Transformative Agreements with institutions worldwide to facilitate open access publication. If the corresponding author named in the ScholarOne system is affiliated with an institution with an agreement then the article, if accepted, can be made open access with no additional publication charge.
