Summary

In 1316 a moiety of the vill of Royston, then Croy Royse (“Crux Roesie”), was included in “Arnyngford” hundred; F. A. I, 156.

Jurors of Erningeford hundred: Walter, Hunfridus de Anslevilla, Hugh Pedefold, Richard de Mordun, Colsueyn, Almer his son, Turulf, Alfwin Odesune, and all the other French and English in this hundred; Inquis. Eliensis (ed. Hamilton), 98.

Jurors of Herningeford hundred: Walter Monachus, Hunfridus de Ansevilla, Hugh Petwolt, Richard de Mordun, Colsuen, Ailmar his son, Turolf, Alfwin Odesune and all others, French and English. Inquis. Com. Cantab. (ed. Hamilton), 51.

The earl of Gloucester was pardoned 10s. out of 10m. imposed on Erningeford hundred for a murder; P. 33.

Hamon de Valoignes is amerced £100 for default; ib. 73.

Roger de Valoignes is amerced 20m. for forest; ib. 74.

The sheriff accounts for £6 of the issues of the land of Hamon de Valoignes after he was outlawed; ib. 76.

The same accounts for 112s. of the farm of the land of Hamon de Valoignes in Litlingeton; and 60s. 8d. of the issues of the earl of Leicester's land in Litlinton; ib. 45.
