Picot the sheriff gave to the canons of Cambridge (Barnwell) the church of Cumberton. Pain Peverel confirmed the gift; Lib. de Bernewelle, 40, 42.

The sheriff claimed allowance of a deficiency of £5 in the farm of Cumberton; Red Bk. 668.
