Summary
Professional bodies
The following list includes brief descriptions, contact details and other information about a range of national and international professional bodies that can help to provide you with relevant news and research that will keep your knowledge and skills up to date. A number of them provide access to their professional resources and publishing, either selectively or by providing free access after a period of time (typically 2–3 years after publication). Members may have additional access, for example, CILIP members are provided with electronic access to a range of professional journals through Emerald, and to two refereed journals, which are hosted by Sage.
