Summary

The book of Genesis ends with the stunning story of Joseph, a son of Jacob whom his brothers sell into Egyptian slavery. In a foreign land, and despite many obstacles, Joseph manages to rise to second-in-command, and when famine strikes Canaan, he makes it possible for his family to find refuge in Egypt.
