Summary

Zachar and Kendler introduce the book Levels of Analysis in Psychopathology: Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives by describing the planning of the conference on which the chapters are based.Many chapters in the book differ from what was presented at the conference as a result of interactions at the conference and the iterative exchange of main chapters and commentaries during the writing of the book.Each chapter is summarized with an eye to highlighting the connections between the chapters across the book.
