page 241 note 3 This net find parallels the well-known discovery at Korpilahti, Antrea, Finland (for illustration, see Clark, Mesolithic Settlement in Northern Europe, pl. IV). The antiquity of the Antrea find was once disputed, but this Esthonian discovery certainly confirms the existence of net fishing in Boreal times in Northern Europe.
