Some soldiers and workers of Cornitermes orthocephalus, Silv., were taken at Campos, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in July 1923 by Mr F. Balfour Browne, the leader of a party of Cambridge entomologists which visited South America at that time. One of the worker termites was subsequently found to contain a parasitic worm in its abdomen.
