ASCB Microscope Exhibit

At the annual meeting in Philadelphia last December, the American Society for Cell Biology exhibited some important microscopes. One of the highlights was Keith Porter's Zeiss Photomicroscope III for reflected light excitation and transmitted light phase contrast. Dr. Porter used this microscope for his research in the 1970s and 1980s, and it is still in use today. Kevin Sexton and David Orloff are shown with the microscope.
