1 W. disagrees with my diagnosis of the Salamis krater as Attic. I also had my doubts (see JHS 1960, 241) until an opportunity to examine the krater and the tenth accompanying skyphoi convinced me that their fabric in Attic, and quite unlike that of the pendent-semicircle vases from the same tomb. For the long-limbed meander, thought non-Attic by W., cf. Ker. v. 1, pl. 45, 825.
