We’re delighted to announce that all articles accepted for publication for Volume 65 (2024) of Diogenes will be ‘open access’; published with a Creative Commons licence and freely available to read online. The costs of open access publication will be covered through agreements between the publisher and the author’s institution, payment of APCs by funding bodies, or else waived entirely, ensuring every author can publish and enjoy the benefits of OA.

Diogenes is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, international journal in the humanities published on an open-access basis by Cambridge University Press. It acts as a platform for high-quality scholarly publications with emphasis on transdisciplinary and cross-cultural orientations, and seeks to bring together scholars from different cultures, horizons, and disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. It welcomes submissions of high academic standards expressing new ideas and latest developments in the field as part of its mission to foster the capacity of the humanities to respond to emerging cultural challenges.
