During the production process an error was introduced into the equation shown within the profit function section of the article. The correct representation of the equation is as follows;

Profit=Revenues–Expenses

Revenues=number of ewes×[fertility×((milk yield×milk price)+(prolificacy×lamb price))–lamb price/longevity+price for culled ewes/longevity]
