Dear E.M.K.;

I think the story is damned good—and would have written you before if I hadnt gone down to Arkansas to shoot a week and celebrate the end of this book. Pauline liked it too very much.

I can send it with a letter to either Scribners or the Cosmopolitan— they are where I have most drag— Can guaranty nothing but that they will read it— But would be delighted to send it—1

Would you write me to Key West what to do about it— We are just leaving— Everything in a hell of a stew Dont ever think you cant write!—

Yours always—

E.H.
