Summary

1. The Tithe Book for the Year 1722.

March the 30th. Agreed then with Mr. Uriah Bithrey for all his small Tithes for 40s., and he is to give me a Sack of the Best Apples he has; but if he has a good Year of Apples he is to give me two Sacks.

March the 30th 1722. Agreed then with Mr. Robert Bod----- for all his Small Tithes for 40s., Apples only excepted.

March the 31st 1722. Agreed then with Charles Wri---- [for all] his Small Tithes (Apples only [excepted)] 21s.

April the 11th 1722. Agreed then with John Smith for all his Small Tithes at 4s. A[pples only exce]pted.

[April] the 16th 1722. [Agr]eed then with John Steffe for his Small [Tithe] s (Pigs and Apples only excepted) for seventeen Shillings for the ensuing Year.

April the 27th 1722. Agreed then with Mr. Edward Knight for his Small Tithes (apples and Pigs excepted) for Six and Thirty Shillings and Sixpence for the Ensuing Year.

Also agreed then with Gideon Rudd for his Small Tithes (apples excepted) for One pound ---- shilling for the ensuing Year.

[The]n with John Ruddy for his Small Tithes (------- and Wood Excepted) for One pound ten [shillin]g and Eight Pence for the ensuing Year.

[Then] with Francis Stonebank for his Small [Tithes (AppJles excepted) for Seventeen shillings ---- p]ence.

2. 1734. [Agreed] then with Richard Steffe for his small [tithes (ApJples excepted) for four and twenty Shillings] -------- 4 Years to begin at Lady day n----.

3. Due to Mr. Knight, October the 6th 1727: for making Malt and Excise 3li.; 2 Cows 5li. 10s.; For Brag 4li. 10s.; For Bayard 5li. 2s. 6d. For Jolly 6li. 8s. 6d. For Agisting an Horse 9 Weeks at 2s. 6d., lli. 2s. 6d. [Total] 25li. 13s. 6d.

Due to Me October the 6th 1727: for 5 Years small Tithes for his farm 9li. 2s. 6d.; for Tithe Hay lli. 1li.; [Total] lQli. 13s. 6d.

Due to Mr. Knight 15li.

October the 6th 1727 Reckon’d then with Mr. Knight.
