Ati ṣetán lati gbée ga,
Ọmọ Ẹdẹ Màpó Àrógun
Ọmọ ají làlà ọ́ṣọ ni
Fọjọ́ gbogbo dára bí egbin
K’á so'wọ́pọ̀ ká gbélu waga,
Ìsọ̀kan ṣà l'agbára wa,
Gbogbo ohun tó bá ti dára,
Ṣe-bí Ẹdẹ ni wọ́n fi n wé,
Fàlà sọ̀dọ̀ béléwú báwo,
Wọn á bi'ra wọn ṣ’o dára bí t’Ẹ́dẹ,
Wọn sì dá’hùn pé ó dára bí t’Ẹ́dẹ,
Bó ṣe gúsù,
Bó ṣ àríwá,
Ìlà oòrùn tàbí 'wo oòrùn,
Kò sí-bì kan tó d à-bí ilé,
Torí ilé làbọ̀ sinmi oko,
À’ m bẹ̀ Ọ, Ọba Olúwa,
Gbàdúrà wa lórí ìlú wa,

Beautiful everyday like a zebra
Let us join hands to lift our town to greatness
In unity lies our strength
Everything that is good
Is usually compared to Ede
In dispute about the standard of things,
People often ask if it is as good as Ede
Their reaction is that it is as good as Ede
In the South
In the North
In the East or West
There is no place like home
Because home is the place of rest after work
