Tithes are to be paid.

Since our Lord Jesus Christ himself ordained this law, that those who [sow preach] the doctrine of the Gospel among men shall reap their livelihood from their work of teaching, and by the witness of our same Lord, all those who labour are deserving of reward, and further the written divine law does not allow an ox to thresh with his mouth muzzled, we must imitate the example of divine mercy, and valiantly see to it that neither the excessive greed of our people, nor their negligence, shall result in a situation in which the just and appropriate rewards from employment in the most holy duties are not paid to the ministers of our churches.

How predial tithes shall be paid.

Therefore let it be decreed by our authority that all and singular our subjects shall, at designated and lawful places and times, set aside tithes of all produce from the fields for the ministers, whether [it is they are] hay or any kind of fruits of whatever places, or saffron or hemp or flax, or whether they are oils or the fruits of trees or other profits of whatever kind which have come from farms; for whatever quantity or quality these commodities may have, a full and complete tithe of [them] all shall always be put aside from the things themselves, in the same form that they were in when they were first collected from the farms, and presented to the ministers, except for strong and tall trees which are more than twenty years old and which are being kept in reserve for buildings or better uses, and which are not intended for the fireplace.

Tithes shall be set aside for the ministers out of the fruits of mills, [coal]mines which have been dug, quarries and of all other instances of this kind. Likewise, tithes shall be paid to the ministers from the pastures, or from any other lands onto which horses, donkeys, oxen and any other breeding animals are animalia sunt [im]missa. Decimae deriventur etiam ex fecundorum animalium quibuscunque foetibus aut fructibus, et in hoc numero sunt, exempli causa, vaccae, sues, oves, equae, cygni, gallinae, anseres, columbae, cuniculi, damae, pisces, apes, et alia paris conditionis animalia.
