Complete body X-ray (skeletal survey).
Examination of mouth, eyes, palms, soles, genitalia, anus.
Photography of all suspicious lesions.
Shaving of hair and examination of underlying skin.
Semen and microbiological swabs.
Incision of livid areas.
Representative sampling of wounds/bruises/fractures for histology.
Excision of some wounds in toto.
Removal of eyes in infants and young children.
