Le Sr Chanoni de Lyon, agé de 40 ans, taille de 5 pieds 5 pouces, assés joli de figure, un peu chauve au front, dirigeant les manufactures de fer blanc et emploié dans celle d'étoffes de soie.
Passa à Hambourg dans le mois de Novembre 1765, allant en Saxe avec un nommé Florentin pour y débaucher des manufacturiers; il en est revenu peu après mais sans succès, a pris la route d'Hollande ou il s'est arreté fort peu, en est parti pour se rendre à Bâle pour être proche de Montbeillard et du rendés–vous avec un nommé Goguel, ci–devant Lieutt au Regmt D'Alsace, taille de 6 pieds, agé de 22 ans, assés bel homme.
Ce même Goguel est de Montbeillard et y aiant tout sa famille qu'on y dit tres estimée, il étoit… sous le pretexte de l'… est… [document dirty, 2 lines illegible at this point].
Il est à remarquer que la régence du Due de Wirtemburg commençoit a sentir 1'effet de cette émigration et avoit Consequemment donné les ordres les plus rigoureux pour en prevenir les Suittes. Il fallut donee se tenir caché, ce que fit le Sr Chanoni qui en partie [l. 222ob.] s'est tenu à. Bâle ou autres endroits de la Suisse ou à Montbeillard chés le dt Goguel.
