A 25-year-old woman is brought to the trauma bay after injury in a motor vehicle accident. She was the restrained passenger in a head-on collision. She tells her caregivers she is 7 months pregnant and repeatedly asks, “Is my baby OK?” She is tachycardic to 120 and moderately hypotensive at 92/56 mm Hg, with complaints of abdominal tenderness.
