Summary
The process that has led collective litigation to have a place in Italian law has been very slow and it is not fully completed at the time we are writing. In this section we analyze this process, which has brought about a major reform of the Italian Code of Civil Procedure in 2019, which is not in force yet at the time of this contribution.
