Summary

It is no accident that Julian Hughes, who is coming to the end of an extremely distinguished career, introduces this book and I, a psychiatry trainee drawing ever closer to my first consultant job, write the conclusion. Before looking to the future of old age psychiatry, I want to say something about Julian Hughes.
