New species of Dictyochaeta and Helicoma from rain forests in Cuba

Abstract

Descriptions and illustrations are provided of two hyphomycete new species from rain forests in Cuba: Dictyochaeta uncinata anam. sp. nov. with setae and conidiophores arising from the same lobed cell and uncinate, filiform conidia, and Helicoma pulchra anam. sp. nov. with helicoid, multiseptate, darkly pigmented conidia. They are compared and contrasted with similar species.
