During the period from October 1, 1950 to the middle of December, a total of twenty meetings of various subsidiary groups affiliated with UNESCO were held, eighteen in Paris and two in Havana—the regional conference of national commissions of the western hemisphere and the meeting of experts on exchange of persons.
