The Authors have studied 87 pairs of MZ-twins, determining for each individual the values of both Fusional Convergence (FC) and Simultaneous Macular Perception (SMP) by means of the major amblyoscope. They have found a high degree of discordance in the FC, corresponding to 80,5 per cent, while the SMP showed a lower degree of discordance (17,2 per cent.). The Authors have observed that the highest values of FC mostly belong to the “leader twin”; they make the hypothesis that the unusual discordance of the FG in the MZ-twins depends on a higher level of will in the “leader twin”, thus representing a test of psychological discrimination between MZ-twins.

Gli AA. hanno studiato 87 coppie gemellali MZ determinando in ciascun individuo con l'amblioscopio maggiore i valori della Convergenza Fusionale e della Percezione Simultanea Maculare. Essi rilevano un'alto grado di discordanza della C.F. il quale corrisponde all' 80,5% mentre la P.S.M. offre una discordanza molto minore (17,2%). Gli AA. hanno riscontrato che i valori più alti della C.F. appartengono per lo più al « Gemello Guida » e affacciano l'ipotesi che l'insolita discordanza della C.F. nei gemelli MZ trovi la sua causa in un maggior livello di volontà del « Gemello Guida » e quindi sia indice di una discriminante psicologica fra gemelli MZ.

RÉSUMÉ

Les AA. ont étudié 87 couples de jumeaux MZ, en déterminant dans chaque sujet au moyen du synoptophore (« major ambyoscope » suivant Lyle) les valeurs de la Convergence Fusionnelle (CF) et de la Perception Simultanée Maculaire (S.M.). Ils ont trouvé un haut degré de discordance de la CF, correspondant à l'80,5%, tandis que la PSM présente une discordance moins marquée (17,2%). Les AA. ont observé que les valeurs plus élevées de CF appartiennent généralement au jumeau « leader ». Ils formulent l'hypothèse que l'insolite discordance de la CF dans les jumeaux MZ soit à mettre sur le compte d'un plus grand niveau de volonté du jumeau « leader », et qu'elle représente par conséquent un test de discrimination psychologique entre des jumeaux MZ.

Die Verff. untersuchten 87 MZ-Zwillingspaare und bestimmten am Synoptophor (“major amblyoscope” nach Lyle) die Werte der Fusionskonvergenz (FK) und der gleichzeitigen Makulawahrnehmung (GMW) für jeden Subjekt. Sie stellten eine grössere Diskordanz für die FK (80,5%) und eine geringere für die GMW (17,2%) fest. Die Verff. haben beobachtet, dass die höchsten Werte der FK meist dem “Führerzwilling” gehören, und legen die Hypothese dar, dass die ungewöhnliche Diskordanz der FK in den MZ-Zwillingen auf einem höheren Niveau des Willens bei dem “Führerzwilling” beruhe; sie sei deshalb als ein Test von psychologischer Diskrimination zwischen MZ-Zwillingen aufzufassen.
