(a) āhū. at̰. paitī. adā.hū. mazdā. ahurā. mazdą̇mcā. būiricā. kərəšuuā.
(b) kərəšuuā. rāitī. tōi. xrapaitī. ahmat̰. hiiat̰. aibī
(c) hiiat̰. mīždəm. mauuaiϑəm. fradadāϑā. daēnābiiō. mazdā. ahurā ∴
Here especially during these offerings,
O Wise Lord,
exercise your wisdom and wealth!
Through your generosity there shall take shape
– as far as we are concerned –
the prize which you have allocated to someone like me
for the sake of our beliefs, O Wise Lord:
yasn šašom hād
(a) ka-tān andar ān axwān ēdōn abar dahānd ohrmazd mehīh ud bowandagīh pad kardārīh man kū ān tis kunēnd ud gōwānd ī-tān mehīh ud bowandagīh paydāgtar bawād
(b) rād hom ō ēd ī tō xrad pānagīh ō dēn ī tō az ān ka-m abar kū-m nēkīh az ān
(c) kē mizd ō manīgān frāz dahē ān ō dēnīgān abāyed dād ohrmazd
Yasn, the sixth chapter
(a) When in those existences they thus bestow upon you, O Ohrmazd, greatness and completeness by means of actions, that is, they practise and speak that thing, (so) that your greatness and completeness shall be more manifest.
(b) I am generous towards this wisdom of yours (and offer) protection for your religion, for it is higher than me, that is, my goodness is from that.
(c) Which prize will you give to my people? That (prize) must be given to the religious ones, O Ohrmazd.
PY 40.2
(a) ahiiā. huuō. nǝ̄. dāidī. ahmāicā. ahuiiē. manax́iiāicā
(b) tat̰. ahiiā. ẏā. tat̰. upājamiiāmā
(c) tauuacā. haxəmā. aṣ̌ax́iiācā. vīspā. ẏaouuē ∴
You there, give us from this (prize)
for both this and the spiritual life,
(give us) this from this (prize)
by which we shall attain the following:
fellowship with you and Truth
for all time!
(a) ān ī ōy ān ō amā dahē pad-iz ēn axwān pad-iz mēnōyān
(b) kū ēdōn pad ān ēdōn abar rasēm
(c) ō ēd ī tō ham-brādagīh ham-kardārīh ahlāyīh-iz hamē tā ō wisp tā tan ī pasēn
(a) That which is his, give us that in these existences, also in the mēnōy (existences),
(b) (so) that thus by means of that we thus attain
(c) this your fellowship, cooperation and also righteousness always until all, until the future body.
