Summary
The following is a translation of a document published by P. Polevoi in Russkaya vivliofika (1883), 1.68–82. Its text coincides with the first item in Vrem. MOIDR (1849), 4. materialy, 1–8, but the heading differs. In the translation the schedule has been tabulated. The text of the publication is evidently corrupt in places; it nevertheless gives a vivid picture of the detail in which price and weight control of bread products was attempted in seventeenth-century Moscow.
