There is certainly a crossover with all the sections mentioned above. The resources included here are mainly those offering structured learning materials and tools directed specifically for PSHE teaching that is part of the National Curriculum. It is essential to use the other specific topics for further learning resources suitable for the individual elements of the PSHE programme of study.

Primary school teaching ideas

This has a large collection of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education teaching ideas and resources for KS1 and KS2. It would also be useful with KS3 as a starting point for many discussions. Excellent for both classroom and home learning as well as for families to use together.

Select Online Education Activity – PSHE (All You Need Is Love) to create a poster explaining how people can show love. Suitable for KS1 and KS2.

Organ and tissue donation

This lesson plan can be used with pupils to explore organ and tissue donation and the impact it has to save and improve lives. There is also an excellent True or False organ and tissue donation quiz produced by www.organdonation.nhs.uk, which is useful as a starting point to discuss the issue.

The Power of kindness: learning resource

Using the Power of Kindness calendar activity, children and young people can learn about and carry out kind acts. This resource from the British Red Cross includes a downloadable kindness calendar and supporting activities for 7–11-year-olds and 11–18-year-olds.
