Continuing in Dialogue's tradition of animating philosophical debates, we are pleased to introduce “Focus on dialogue / Faisons le point — dialogue,” an Open Peer Commentary series in which a target article is followed by peer commentaries and an author response. In this first instalment, we present a conversation between scholars on the topic of racial integration: D. C. Matthew's “Racial Integration and the Problem of Relational Devaluation” is serving as the target article and commentaries by Sharon Stanley, Andrew Valls, Elvira Basevich, Michael Merry, and Ronald Sundstrom follow.Footnote †

Très attachée à la tradition du débat en philosophie, la rédaction de Dialogue propose de contribuer à animer la discussion en lançant la série « Focus on dialogue / Faisons le point — dialogue ». Suivant le principe de l’évaluation ouverte, celle-ci comprendra un article-cible original, immédiatement suivi de commentaires et discussions rédigés par les pairs, et auxquels l'auteur.e est pour finir invité.e à répondre.

Pour cette première itération, nous présentons un échange argumentatif serré entre plusieurs philosophes spécialistes de la question de l'intégration raciale : l'article-cible, « Racial Integration and the Problem of Relational Devaluation », a été proposé par D.
