3 New York Word comes in a highly compressed form that when uncompressed overflows an ordinary floppy disk. Thus it is necessary to install it on a hard disk and then copy files onto floppies (assuming that one wants to use it on floppies). If this process is performed incorrectly, the original floppy can be destroyed. Therefore, more than is usually the case, the purchaser should make a copy of the compressed original disk and then uncompress the copy. Be sure to check the README file before performing the uncompress procedure.
