The APSA Annual Meeting, held September 1–4 in Seattle, Washingon, is an opportunity to connect: with colleagues, with the political science community, with a timely topic. With nearly 900 panels, roundtables, and special events, there is no shortage of opportunities to engage with fellow scholars. Join APSA for a fun-filled evening at the Opening Reception, celebrate outstanding achievement in the field at the Awards Ceremony, or mingle with colleagues at your university's reception. Delve more deeply into topics with a short course on Wednesday, or meet attendees with shared interests by participating in a working group. Along with special events and networking, the Annual Meeting provides attendees with worthwhile services: the eJobs Placement Service for onsite interviews, and an exhibit hall hosting publishers, educational foundations, computer software companies, and more.

Registration is now available through the APSA website, http://www.apsanet.org. Simply log in t o your MyAPSA account and follow the registration links under the Annual Meeting header. Register by August 5 to receive the lower preregistration rates—after August 5, onsite rates apply. Current APSA members receive lower registration rates, so we encourage nonmembers to consider joining. By joining now, you can take advantage of both discounted membership rates and lower registration rates.
