This paper contained an account of a redetermination of the thermo-electric position of solid mercury, by a method described in a note read last session. The only difference was that, by the use of three galvanometers, simultaneous readings of the deflection due to the Hg-Fe circuit, and of the deflections due to thermoelectric circuits giving the temperatures of the two Hg-Fe junctions, were taken.
