Abstract

Phase-matched SHG, resonantly enhanced near λ=8.6μm, with ∼1% efficiency and up to 30 W peak power has been observed in asymmetric double multi-quantum well structures. Waveguide-mode and 45° wedge multi-bounce geometries were used.
