Cobalt As A Probe Ion In The Synthesis Of CoAPO-5

  • M. G. Uytterhoeven (a1), W. A. Van Keyenberg (a1), R. A. Schoonheydt (a1) and K. U. Leuven (a1)

Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) is an excellent technique for the investigation of the synthesis process of CoAPO-5. The DRS intensities increase concomitantly with the crystallinity during synthesis. DRS is also useful in the characterization of the nucleation stage. The transition from an aluminophosphate-hydrate to a non-hydrated structure is observed.
