An Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display Using a Novel Amorphous Silicon Switching Device

Abstract

A 32×32 pixel liquid crystal display using amorphous silicon n-i-n diodes as switching elements has been developed. The display can be operated at duty ratios up to 1:256.
