1 Cod. P. Morgan xiv, entitled “ The Antiphonary ” and dated 893 A.D., is evidently its Sa'idic prototype. Ἀντφωνον in the usual sense is rarely used in Coptic, e.g. Horner, Consecration etc., 320.
