SUBCLASSES OF LOCALLY MINIMAX GROUPS CLOSED UNDER NORMAL JOINS

Abstract

It is well known that the product of normal locally nilpotent (locally polycyclic) groups is again locally nilpotent (locally polycyclic). This is not true for locally solvable groups. We look at a class between locally polycyclic and locally solvable groups that is closed under normal products.
