In fulfilment of the promise made in January 1926, I now present the results of further investigation into the mortality experienced by pensioners from the staffs of banks and insurance companies. It was intended that this paper should have been submitted last session, but absence from England during the winter of 1926-1927 precluded any possibility of that event.
