The body-centered-cubic-type icosahedral reciprocal lattice of the Al–Cu–Fe quasi-periodic crystal

Abstract

We show that the Al–Cu–Fe stable icosahedral crystal has an almost perfect icosahedral symmetry, and a reciprocal lattice of the body-centered cubic type.
