10 Judges of the International Court serve in their individual capacities and not as representatives of their countries. Countries are listed for convenience in identification only. Terms of office expire on February 5 of the year listed.

At the time of this printing, no one had been elected to fill the vacancy in the Court caused by the death in November, 1953, of Sir Benegal Rau (India) whose term of office was to expire in 1961.
