[On January 30, 1995, Israel withdrew from land held in Jordan, in accordance with the October 26, 1994, peace treaty. Jordan has also designated Marwan Muasher, former delegation spokesman, as Ambassador to Israel. As of January 31, 1995, Israel had not named an Ambassador to Jordan.
